Where: Activities/Carnival Grounds (1/4 mile down Coppermine Road from 194) in Woodsboro (Frederick County, MD). 10307 Coppermine Road, Woodsboro MD 21798

Don't Go Hungry: The All You Can Eat Buffet Dinner will be served between 4:30pm and 7:30pm within the Activities Complex (on Carnival Grounds)! The Food Line on the grounds opens around 5:30PM, depending on volunteer staffing availability!

HOT AIR BALLOON LAUNCHES: Hot Air Balloons will be launching from the Woodsboro Volunteer Carnival Grounds each evening (2 hours before dusk approximately) in an effort to raise awareness of the Woodsboro Volunteer Fire/Rescue Company. We hope families will enjoy the launches and appreciate the time Patrick from Tail Winds Over Frederick, and Ron from Friendship Hot Air Balloon Rides has offered to the Fire Company! Contact either pilot for more information on the Hot Air Balloons being launched from the grounds this year.

Tail Winds Over Frederick will also have a stand at the 2012 Carnival, so stop by their stand for additional information!

NOTE: You may inquire directly with each Balloon Company about booking a flight. (Note: Several factors must be taken into account in order for a pilot to launch from the grounds, including weather conditions, air space restrictions, and availability. Launches will depend on these factors).
